Valencia CF equal best 16-game unbeaten run
A Matchday 29 victory at the Sánchez Pizjuán meant that Valencia CF have extended their run to 16 consecutive games unbeaten in all competitions. It is one of their most successful such streaks since 1941/42 , with 9 wins and 7 draws.
The run includes 9 games without a loss in LaLiga, 4 in the UEFA Europa League and 3 in the Copa del Rey. Their last defeat was in the cup on January 22nd, against Getafe CF. No other club in Spain have currently put together as many matches unbeaten.
